Design of the Stamp for the Razor Tape Egoza
The method of manufacturing barbed tape proposed by Tkachenko Yu.V. eliminates the main disadvantages of the technological process of producing Egoza razor tape, but its implementation using the traditional stamp design has a very significant drawback. This disadvantage is that one movement of the stamp forms the full profile of the Egoza razor tape and when stamping several strips at the same time, the steel tape is deformed, which means that the shape of the cutting edges is distorted, and the anti-corrosion coating is violated. That is, a press with excellent productivity produces defective razor tape.
To avoid such problems in the production of Egoza razor wire and to obtain the full benefits of the method for producing razor tape from Tkachenko Yu.V. The inventor proposed a new stamp design that allows to reduce to zero the deformation of the razor tape and damage to the anti-corrosion coating (Ukrainian patent No. 95130 "Method and stamp for manufacturing razor tape" https://all-wire.com/wire-gost-9389-75-din-17223-en-10270-1).

The essence of the improvement is to change the design of the stamp in such a way that three stages of cutting of the barbed tape are performed at once with one punch stroke. The process is shown in detail in the figure above. This design of the stamp eliminates deformation of the razor tape and damage to the anti-corrosion layer. At the same time, the stamp is structurally simplified, which further reduces the cost of Egoza razor tape, and accordingly, all products manufactured on the basis of Egoza razor wire.
